Matt Henry unavailable for Blast<\/p>\n
Somerset will be without New Zealand International, Matt Henry for this weekend\u2019s Vitality Blast quarter-final against Bears.<\/p>\n
Following consultations with Cricket New Zealand, who are preparing for an important series against Australia early next month, the 33-year-old will be unavailable for this match and also for Finals Day, should Somerset win on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Regarding Matt\u2019s availability, Somerset Director of Cricket, Andy Hurry said: \u201cUnfortunately, we will be without Matt for the remainder of the competition. He has played an important role in our qualification for the knockout stages and we thank him for his efforts.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith the international calendar expanding every year, alongside the changes to the domestic structure, it is becoming increasingly difficult to secure the services of international players for the duration of tournaments.<\/p>\n
