While helping to open a new hospital, King Charles has shared an update about his own ongoing battle with cancer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The King was on hand to officially mark the opening of Midland Metropolitan University Hospital in Smethwick. The new hospital has over 700 beds and 11 operating theatres, as well as an A&E department and research and diagnostic units.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In addition to meeting with new staff and volunteers, King Charles was able to speak with several patients during his visit.\u00a0<\/p>\n
