{"id":397173,"date":"2025-09-04T12:00:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-04T12:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/397173\/"},"modified":"2025-09-04T12:00:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T12:00:14","slug":"man-50-dies-after-crashing-car-in-edinburgh-as-police-appeal-for-witnesses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/397173\/","title":{"rendered":"Man, 50, dies after crashing car in Edinburgh as police appeal for witnesses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a one-car crash in Edinburgh.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emergency services were called to Cramond Road South around 10.05pm on Wednesday following reports that a Vauxhall Corsa had crashed.<\/p>\n<p>A 50-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to get in touch.<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant Paul Ewing said: \u201cOur thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs our enquiries continue, I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this crash to contact us.
