over littering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  Cllr John\u00a0Gray has become increasingly fed up with the \u201csheets of litter\u201d he sees every time he visits\u00a0Robertson Park in Renfrew.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  Invariably, he says, the litter\u00a0predominantly consists of empty cans, broken bottles and shards of glass everywhere and even discarded water bottles abandoned by local football teams.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  He said: \u201cThe condition of Robertson Park in Renfrew &#8211; dearly loved by all who live here &#8211; is now beyond acceptable.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  \u201cWe can no longer tolerate the neglect and abuse of this space which ought to be a safe and pleasing place for all of us.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  The local politician has received calls in the last few weeks from residents who are similarly concerned about the issue.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Particularly they have highlighted the mess being left by kids using the skatepark and adults sitting drinking.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <img   style=\"width: 100%;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\n  Cllr Jamie McGuire arranged a clean-up by council workers only a few weeks ago, but Cllr Gray says that unfortunately the problem has become \u201crelentless\u201d.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  READ NEXT:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-gazette.co.uk\/news\/25415586.bid-restore-iconic-building-paisley---latest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bid to restore iconic building in Paisley &#8211;
