As the attractions are aimed at children, she was joined by students from the nearby Dulwich Village Church of England Infants&#8217; School, who helped her cut the ribbon on the new exhibits and had some fun along the way.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_6-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> The grounds of the gallery feature an original red telephone box. The phone box has an important connection to its location, as the man who designed the K2 model of classic British phone boxes, Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, <a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/@siriperera2000\/dulwich-picture-gallery-englands-first-public-art-gallery-and-the-birthplace-of-a-british-icon-13de0a9e0900\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drew inspiration from the Dulwich Picture Gallery&#8217;s mausoleum<\/a> when creating its unique shape.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_8-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> This history lesson was not, however, the focus of the year two students, who clamored towards the phone box with Camilla in tow to try out a British tradition.\n<\/p>\n<p id=\"mntl-sc-block_10-0\" class=\"comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html\"> &#8220;Let\u2019s see how many we can get in there,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/royal\/2104378\/queen-camilla-royal-Dulwich-Picture-Gallery\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" data-ordinal=\"1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Queen suggested<\/a>.
