Meghan Markle once again failed to hit the mark as she had in her mind before launching the second season of her much-hyped\u00a0show.<\/p>\n
The Duchess of Sussex’s cooking show\u00a0With Love, Meghan\u00a0hit the screens on Tuesday, August 26, alongside a new product launch from her lifestyle brand As Ever.<\/p>\n
According to a new report, the show did not do well or what the network would have hoped it would do.<\/p>\n
The former actress allegedly thinks her Netflix series has been hijacked by a wave of celebrity distractions, with friends telling Radar Online Taylor Swift’s engagement announcement was the biggest blow.<\/p>\n
As per the report, the Duchess blames powerful forces use ‘dark PR arts’ to keep her sidelined.<\/p>\n
“Meghan is convinced there’s a showbiz conspiracy to kill her momentum. She feels every time she has a big launch, something massive lands that overshadows it,” the insider claimed.<\/p>\n
“She sees Taylor’s announcement as part of that pattern. Meghan truly believes forces are being deployed in the background to keep her out of the spotlight after her attacks on the royal family.”<\/p>\n
Another added: “She worries there is a deliberate attempt to clip her wings, and sees herself as a Princess Diana-type figure in this way, as she is convinced the royals are out to get her.”<\/p>\n
However, the source went on to admit: “The reality is, she’s deluded and of no real interest compared to an A-lister like Taylor.”<\/p>\n
Despite “liking” Swift’s engagement post on Instagram after she announced she and Kelce are due to get hitched, Markle is said to have been “seething privately,” according to one source.<\/p>\n
The Duchess, according to the outlet, told friends she is “beyond frustrated” her lifestyle brand cannot seem to secure any level of celebrity endorsement.<\/p>\n
Meghan’s latest show was filmed in Montecito and features the Duchess cooking with guests including Chrissy Teigen and Tan France.<\/p>\n
The first season of With Love, Meghan attracted 5.3 million views, ranking among Netflix’s stronger performers in early 2025, but critics brushed it off as “toe-curlingly unlovable.”<\/p>\n
