Good Morning Britain viewers were left devastated as the programme’s presenters delivered a “horrific” news bulletin. During Friday’s of the popular ITV show<\/a> on September 5, those tuning in were left emotional at an ongoing development.<\/p>\n

GMB hosts Kate Garraway<\/a> and Adil Ray brought audiences the latest headlines from across Britain and beyond. They were accompanied in the studio by Laura Tobin, who provided regular weather forecasts, and Charlotte Hawkins.<\/p>\n

Later on in the programme, Kate and Adil interviewed British physiotherapist Rachael Moses as reported by the Mirror<\/a>, who had recently returned from Gaza after working at the Nasser Hospital when Israeli forces launched an assault on the facility last week.<\/p>\n

“Sometimes I’m left speechless<\/a> because the words we could use to describe what is happening to the people of Gaza and the people of Palestine are indescribable,” she said.<\/p>\n

“22 months of brutality. I’ve seen things that I’ve never seen in my entire 25-year career dealing with people in Gaza<\/a>. Children, newborn babies, bullets to the brain.<\/p>\n

“The most horrific, traumatic brain injuries, huge levels of disability, on top of the inhumane living conditions.”<\/p>\n

Discussing the strike on the Nasser Hospital, Rachael continued: “We were in the room next door in the intensive care unit, so the operating room was struck first.<\/p>\n

“It’s not unusual to hear and feel explosions in any of the hospitals, including Nasser, and I think it’s been hit three times since I’ve been working out there.<\/p>\n

“We carried on working, it’s very usual to feel explosions in a hospital. That is a reality of my colleagues working out there everyday. It wasn’t until about 30 seconds later, people came rushing in to get gloves and debris started to come in.”<\/p>\n

The healthcare worker said she wasn’t put off from going back to assist those in need, stating: “I think anyone who goes to Gaza or any country like Gaza, especially as a healthcare worker, you have a duty of care for the most vulnerable people in the world, and that’s what we’re driven by.”<\/p>\n

Adil finished by saying: “Rachael, you’ve put it so eloquently. You’re a hero, you really are. I know you won’t feel that. It’s about simple humanity and what you’re doing is absolutely fantastic, and we’re really grateful.”<\/p>\n

The segment left viewers feeling moved, with many heading to Twitter to express their thoughts. “Rachael Moses a British Medic, I am so proud of you,” one person wrote, with another adding: “This is just heartbreaking.”<\/p>\n
