statement, translated by the fansite <a href=\"https:\/\/esctoday.com\/201566\/slovenia-eurovision-2026-participation-in-jeopardy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:ESC Today;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">ESC Today<\/a>, which said that its decision about whether to return to Eurovision would be made imminently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cBy this time, it should be clear whether the EBU will make any decision regarding Israel\u2019s participation and whether it will take into account the comments of several EBU member states regarding the transparency of voting,\u201d they said. \u201cAt that time, it will be clear whether [we still want] to participate in this competition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAt the EBU General Assembly, which was held in London at the beginning of July, RTV Slovenia presented its position that if Israel were to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest \u2013 due to the genocide in Gaza \u2013 it would not participate in the competition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8
