(NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 I\u2019m starting to feel bad for the erstwhile royals of the American Riviera.<\/p>\n

The \u201csecond season\u201d of Meghan Markle\u2019s Netflix show, \u201cWith Love, Meghan,\u201d debuted last week and hasn\u2019t hit the streamer\u2019s top ten list \u2014 either in America or globally.<\/p>\n

And, according to FlixPatrol<\/a>, which measures views and popularity of TV shows, she didn\u2019t even hit the top 100.<\/p>\n

\u2018Netflix Houses\u2019 are planning to open in several US cities. What are they? <\/a><\/p>\n

Making matters worse, Markle\u2019s product line, As Ever<\/a>, is also stumbling.<\/p>\n

There are still $30 bottles of rose wine available, as well as almost all other products with the exception of the limited edition of $14 orange marmalade in \u201ckeepsake packaging\u201d.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s bad news for Markle and her partnership with the streamer \u2014 the only cash flow she has left.<\/p>\n

She technically signed a \u201cnew deal\u201d with Netflix. Unlike the $100 million she got during the last deal, this one is a \u201cfirst look\u201d deal, which means the streamer will get first pass at ideas she and Harry have.<\/p>\n

Americans fascinated by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry\u2019s royal ties<\/p>\n

But sadly, the only thing Americans seem to be interested in with the couple is their tenuous ties to the royal family,<\/a> which have been severed.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry is attempting to rectify this and see his father in a week and half<\/a> \u2014 but nothing has been set in stone, and his brother, the future king, Prince William, will have nothing to do with him.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Meghan has been posting more pics of her kids, Archie and Lili, on her Instagram (to be fair \u2014 the back of their heads, showing their bright red hair), and detractors accuse her of doing so to gin up interest in her products and up her Q rating, to almost no avail.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this point, they have no more gossip left about the current royal family. All they have left that anyone would care about is their children \u2014 specifically what they look like \u2014 and of course, Harry\u2019s mother, Princess Diana,\u201d my royal insider said.<\/p>\n

    In fact, the pair are said to be shopping a Princess Diana documentary<\/a> to debut in two years on the 30th anniversary of her death. A macabre project that would just add to the many docs about Diana that have already been done.<\/p>\n

    Markle has also shut down her ShopMy<\/a> site, where she used her Duchess title to sell clothing and link to outfits she wore \u2014 and collect a percentage of sales.<\/p>\n

    \u201dThat was just tacky as hell,\u201d my royal insider added. \u201cIt was absolutely trading off her title for cash\u2026 it\u2019s a good thing it\u2019s down.\u201d<\/p>\n

    As for Harry \u2014 he had two major staffers quit in one week. The first was JJ Chalmers<\/a> \u2014 a British war hero who lost part of his right arm and two fingers on his left hand \u2014 left his role at Invictus as a trustee (he will remain an ambassador). The second blow came this week when Sally Davey<\/a>, the chief executive of Harry\u2019s travel company, Travalyst, quit after just two years at the helm of the sustainable travel company.<\/p>\n

    The news comes at a bad time for the couple who have lost over 25 staffers in the years since they moved to the United States.<\/p>\n

    Prince Harry and Meghan Markle\u2019s charity troubles<\/p>\n

    In August<\/a> I reported about the grumbles across Invictus \u2014 in which soldiers were leaving the charity after saying they felt used as PR pawns.<\/p>\n

    Meanwhile, he has also had trouble with his and Markle\u2019s homegrown charity, Archewell.<\/p>\n

    As I exclusively reported earlier this year, Archewell was found to have given over $50,000 to an anti-Israel activist<\/a> (upon learning from me about the allegation, Archewell immediately cut ties with the group), and now, there\u2019s massive trouble afoot with his other beloved cause, African parks.<\/p>\n

    Most US adults give to charity. Here\u2019s where they donated <\/a><\/p>\n

    Last month, it was announced that an investigation led by Cherie Blair, wife of the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, found that a charity Prince Harry is connected to admitted its rangers commit human rights abuses against those in the Republic of Congo indigenous communities, according to reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    He left Sentebelae, the other charity he started, after a public dustup with its new leader, Sophie Chaundaka. Harry is also said to be stung that he and Meghan were passed over by Time magazine <\/a>for its 100 list of philanthropists \u2014 the magazine instead awarded the honor to Harry\u2019s nemeses, brother Prince William and Princess Catherine.<\/p>\n

      Prince Harry \u2018desperately lonely\u2019 in California<\/p>\n

      And now, Harry is left with\u2026 not much to do.<\/p>\n

      As I reported earlier this summer<\/a>, the ginger-haired prince is \u201cdesperately lonely\u201d in California, friends say.<\/p>\n

      \u201dHarry doesn\u2019t really have any real friends in the area except for Nacho (Figueras) and Nacho travels constantly for polo matches,\u201d one friend said.<\/p>\n

      \u201cHe is still very close with the \u2018band of brothers\u2019 who were at his wedding \u2014 particularly Guy Pelley and Mark Dyer, but\u2026 they live in England and the time zones are so different it\u2019s very hard to talk regularly. And again, there is no one for him to hang out with (in person) besides Nacho when he is in town or Meghan and the children. He spends a lot of his time chilling with his bodyguards.\u201d<\/p>\n
