Queen Camilla proves age is just a number when it comes to fun!<\/p>\n

The senior royal on Thursday, September 4, visited the Dulwich Picture Gallery in London to help open a new Artplay Pavilion and Sculpture Garden. <\/p>\n

The event was made more colourful after students from the nearby Dulwich Village Church of England Infants’ School joined the queen in cutting the ribbon. The kids also get involved in some playful activities.<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of the visit was when the queen, 78, and the students tried to fit as many children as possible into a classic red telephone box on the gallery grounds.<\/p>\n

“Let’s see how many we can get in there,” the queen suggested. After six children managed to squeeze inside, she asked to join them, saying, “Do you think I can come in too?”<\/p>\n

The students and the queen had a blast testing out other activities, including a new bridge and indoor games. However, the queen drew the line when it came to sliding down a surreal red slide, joking, “I’m not trying that out, though.”<\/p>\n

The school’s Instagram account shared photos from the visit, captioning them, “An amazing morning @dulwichgallery for the opening of their ArtPlay Pavilion! HRH Queen Camilla opened the beautiful play space and @dulwich_village_infants got to join in as well! 7 children and The Queen in a telephone box was a highlight!”<\/p>\n

The queen resumed her royal duties with her visit to the Dulwich Picture Gallery after a summer break with King Charles at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. <\/p>\n

Earlier in the week, she visited several of her royal patronages in Cornwall, meeting with locals and formally naming a new rescue helicopter “The Duke of Cornwall.”<\/p>\n
