Michael Jackson<\/a>‘s mother Katherine Jackson looked frail when she was seen during a rare outing in Los Angeles<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The\u00a095-year-old matriarch \u2014 whose iconic son Michael died in 2009 at age 50 \u2014 was spotted being carted around the city’s Thousand Oaks neighborhood by an aide.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was dressed in a patterned green dress, forest green cardigan, and black shoes while holding a black Chanel<\/a> purse in her lap.<\/p>\n

Mrs. Jackson, who became a widow when her husband Joe died in 2018, wore hoop earrings and a long necklace.<\/p>\n

The sighting comes shortly after her granddaughter Paris Jackson, 27, distanced herself from dad Michael’s upcoming biopic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Paris’ cousin Jaafar Jackson portrays the King of Pop in Antoine Fuqua’s $155 million two-part movie.<\/p>\n

The sighting comes shortly after Katherine’s granddaughter Paris Jackson, 27, distanced herself from dad Michael’s upcoming biopic; pictured in March 2024<\/p>\n

Due in theaters April 24, 2026, the biopic is produced by John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the Michael Jackson estate.<\/a><\/p>\n

Paris (full name Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson) took to Instagram on Tuesday to quash actor\u00a0Colman Domingo’s claim that she is ‘very much in support of our film.’<\/p>\n

The actor, 55, plays her\u00a0great grandfather Joe Jackson in the highly-anticipated movie.<\/p>\n

He told People<\/a>\u00a0this week that he’d ‘chatted briefly’ with Paris and her brother Prince, 28, at Sunday’s amfAR Venezia Gala.<\/p>\n

‘They’re very much in support of our film,’ Domingo gushed. ‘I’m excited to be here at amfAR tonight with Paris. It feels like that’s a nice way for us to be together.’<\/p>\n

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Paris contradicted his statement and shared her side of things.<\/p>\n

‘[Colman Domingo], don\u2019t be telling people I was “helpful” on the set of a movie I had 0% involvement in lol that is so weird,’ Paris wrote to her 5.4 million followers.<\/p>\n

She added in a follow-up post, ‘I read one of the first drafts of the script and gave my notes about what was dishonest \/ didn\u2019t sit right with me, and when they didn\u2019t address it, I moved on with my life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Paris later explained her brief association with the biopic in more detail.<\/p>\n

‘I wasn\u2019t involved at all, aside from giving feedback on the first draft and then getting the feedback that [the production] was not actually going to address [my] notes at all,’ the star clarified.<\/p>\n

‘So I just butted out and left it alone because it\u2019s not my project,’ she wrote. ‘They\u2019re going to make whatever they\u2019re going to make. A big reason why I haven\u2019t said anything up until this point is because I know a lot of you guys are gonna be happy with it. A big section of the film panders to a very specific section of my dad\u2019s fandom that still lives in the fantasy, and they\u2019re gonna be happy with it.’<\/p>\n

Paris continued, ‘The thing about these biopics is \u2014 it\u2019s Hollywood. So it\u2019s fantasy land.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘It\u2019s not real but it\u2019s sold to you as real and a lot of sugar coated \u2026 the narrative is being controlled and there\u2019s a lot of inaccuracy and there\u2019s a lot of just full-blown lies.’<\/p>\n

She shared defiantly, ‘At the end of the day, that doesn\u2019t really fly with me. I don\u2019t really like dishonesty. I spoke up. I wasn\u2019t heard. I f***ed off. That\u2019s it. Y\u2019all are gonna like the f***ing movie. So just go watch it. Go enjoy it. Do whatever. Leave me out of it.’<\/p>\n

In March it was announced by Incubus that Paris and Manchester Orchestra would be hitting the road with them for their Morning View + The Hits tour throughout the US and UK.<\/p>\n

In June Paris hit back at critics who were angry she was scheduled to perform on her late father’s<\/a>\u00a0death anniversary.<\/p>\n

Paris said in an Instagram Story at the time:\u00a0‘So people are mad again. I guess one of the dates I’m supposed to be going out on tour (with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra) happens to be June 25, which is a very negative anniversary for me in my life and my family.’<\/p>\n

She continued in the video post, ‘So, what I guess I have to explain to these people is that when you’re not headlining these shows, you don’t pick what date you perform.’<\/p>\n

The blond music artist also underscored that she was not getting lavish accommodations as an opening act.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘It’s just me and my acoustic guitar and my sound guy, who happens to be my fianc\u00e9,’ she said in reference to her then-fianc\u00e9,\u00a0Justin Long<\/a>.\u00a0‘So we’re gonna be in a soccer mom van.’<\/p>\n
