{"id":400613,"date":"2025-09-05T18:15:21","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T18:15:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/400613\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T18:15:21","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T18:15:21","slug":"match-report-watford-under-21s-0-5-sheffield-united","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/400613\/","title":{"rendered":"Match report: Watford Under-21s 0-5 Sheffield United"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n  The Hornets were without several key players and the Blades were able to establish their dominance, going in 3-0 up at the break and adding two more goals in the second half.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Jevan Beattie \u2013 son of former Watford striker Craig \u2013 was the star of the show, his hat-trick added to by Frankie Jones and Marshall Anderson.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The young Hornets did not give up, though, Max Smith hitting the bar late on &#8211; and the experience of playing at Vicarage Road should do them plenty of good.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The Blades were on top from the outset, with Beattie setting the tone upfront.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The striker scored the opener from a tight angle after just six minutes, slamming beyond Sam Morris.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Beattie and partner Marshall Francis were proving quite a threat \u2013 with both going close from inside the box.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  On the half hour mark, Beattie did have his second.
