Latest maps from WXCHARTS show a flurry of <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/snow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snow<\/a> coating the UK in the next week. On Tuesday 11 March by 12 noon, maps show <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2022110\/uk-weather-map-snow-rain-forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snow<\/a> will hit parts of Scotland and the north of England including Newcastle and the Lake District.<\/p>\n<p>It will also stretch down to Birmingham and London with much of the Midlands with a small part of North Wales also seeing some snow. In the east of England, there will be <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2023652\/uk-weather-forecast-snow-maps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rain<\/a> rather than snow with much of this part of the country seeing 0.2mm of rain per hour.<\/p>\n<p>By 3pm on the same day, <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/met-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">snow<\/a> will move west across the UK reaching more areas including much more of the midlands and Wales.<\/p>\n<p>Maps show areas impacted will be Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff and Sheffield which will see around 0.2-0.4cm of snowfall per hour.<\/p>\n<p>By Tuesday 11 March at 6pm, most of the UK will see freezing temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2002393\/uk-weather-maps-snow-counties-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coldest temperatures<\/a> are likely to be seen in the Yorkshire Dales where -7C will be seen.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2023605\/uk-snow-maps-south-of-england-weather-forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Met Office<\/a>, high pressure will build across the UK from the northwest during this period.<\/p>\n<p>It says: \u201cThis will bring north or northeasterly winds during the middle of next week, with a mixture of sunny spells and some showers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe showers are likely to be most frequent in the north and east, and they will bring some snow to high ground.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTemperatures are expected to be below normal. Through the end of the week and the following weekend, fine and dry conditions are likely for many areas, although a few showers are likely along coasts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTemperatures will likely be below normal.
