href=\"https:\/\/blog.playstation.com\/2025\/09\/05\/playstation-store-august-2025s-top-downloads\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PS Store charts<\/a> for August are here, and while there are no huge surprises, you may be interested to know that the middling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/mafia_the_old_country\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mafia: The Old Country<\/a> was one of the month&#8217;s best-selling PS5 games.<\/p>\n<p>While it didn&#8217;t review especially well, the crime thriller action title made a splash in terms of sales, securing number one on the European chart and third on the North American chart.<\/p>\n<p>Across the pond, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/madden_nfl_26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Madden NFL 26<\/a> took the top spot, while it&#8217;s nowhere to be seen in the EU bestsellers list.<\/p>\n<p>Hardcore shooter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/ready_or_not\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ready or Not<\/a> is also still doing very well for itself, coming in third in Europe and second in North America after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/news\/2025\/08\/gritty-fps-ready-or-not-ruled-the-ps-store-in-july-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">strong start in July<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/gears_of_war_reloaded\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gears of War Reloaded<\/a> makes a top 10 debut in both regions (fourth in NA and seventh in EU), as does <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pushsquare.com\/games\/ps5\/metal_gear_solid_delta_snake_eater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake
