September 4 marked a major moment for Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a>\u2014it was their first official royal outing<\/a> after a seven-week summer break. And yes, they stepped back into the spotlight<\/a> looking more united than ever.<\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, were spotted in London for an engagement that\u2019s especially close to Kate\u2019s heart. As patron of the Natural History Museum, the princess visited the newly re-opened gardens to see the cultural institution\u2019s green transformation firsthand.<\/p>\n

While the outing gave fans a chance to see the royal couple back in action, it also offered a surprisingly sweet glimpse into their relationship<\/a>. After 14 years of marriage and three children (hey, Prince George<\/a>, Princess Charlotte<\/a> and Prince Louis<\/a>), it\u2019s clear these two are still going strong and William was especially tuned in to supporting his wife.<\/p>\n

Case in point? A moment captured while they were walking together: William gently placed his hand on the small of Kate\u2019s back. It was subtle, sure, but spoke volumes.\u00a0It was a reminder than William is a pillar of support for Catherine, especially in a year where her health issues have been a major cause for concern.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first time we\u2019ve seen that kind of supportive body language from the couple. Back in May, during the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, body language expert Darren Stanton told PureWow the couple appeared \u201cstronger than ever,\u201d<\/a> even calling them a \u201cdream team.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Stanton explained, \u201cThey put on a united front, and it\u2019s clear they\u2019re working together as a team and wanting to keep their heads held high right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

That same hand-on-the-back gesture appeared then, too\u2014something Stanton says reflects their deep emotional connection. \u201cThey\u2019re always in sync with one another\u2019s emotions,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n

Basically, Kate and William might just be the royal relationship goals we all need right now.<\/p>\n
