Loose Women star Myleene Klass<\/a> has opened up on an important message that she delivered to King Charles<\/a> when attending Windsor Castle after being awarded an MBE. She was recognised on the Honour’s list<\/a> for her services to women\u2019s health, miscarriage awareness and to charity.<\/p>\n

The honour specifically recognises her dedicated efforts to raise awareness and push for legal reform, following her own personal experience of multiple pregnancy losses. Myleene, who has spoken publicly about suffering four miscarriages<\/a>, has led calls for improved support and policy change and has become one of the country\u2019s most vocal advocates for reform. Myleene shared that despite her charity work being recognised by the royals, at the end of the day, she likes to remain humble with her children. She exclusively told Express.co.uk<\/a>: “I do think deep down they\u2019re proud but to be honest, I\u2019m just mum, which is exactly how it should be. I don\u2019t see how celebs can be divas when they have kids. There\u2019s nothing more humbling!<\/p>\n

“The day I got my MBE, we met the King, walked around the castle, saw\u00a0Queen Victoria\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0actual bible, and the very bullet that killed Nelson – it was a momentous day. As soon as we walked out onto the King’s well-manicured lawn, everyone was back asking me for snacks. We hadn\u2019t even left the castle grounds. Did I have snacks? and \u2018where were we going for lunch?\u2019 and \u2018who could sit in the front?\u2019 and whose shoes were too tight. Standard.”<\/p>\n

Sharing what King Charles was really like, the\u00a0ITV presenter<\/a>\u00a0told us: “He was incredible. I have been lucky to meet him on a few occasions now and have performed for him many times however, this felt very different. It really was a huge moment.”<\/p>\n

She went on to explain that she discussed matters close to her heart with the monarch, saying: “We talked at length about what the current landscape for miscarriage care looks like and how along with Tommy\u2019s, the miscarriage association and other charities, I\u2019m pushing for continuity and a graded model of care instead of infrequent, ad hoc help which usually comes down to a postcode lottery.<\/p>\n

“HRH was surprised to hear that there\u2019s no official figure on the amount of women suffering miscarriages, as no official stat exists, as well as the fact that women have to endure three consecutive miscarriages before receiving medical intervention. I mooted ‘you wouldn\u2019t wait for two more heart attacks before seeking out care\u2019 at which he vehemently agreed.”<\/p>\n

Outside of her charity and presenting work, Myleene has recently collaborated with Life360, the world\u2019s leading family connection and safety app, to launch the Parental Panic Hotline in collaboration with Calm.<\/p>\n

This temporary service offers a safe space for parents to vent, recharge, and access an exclusive guided meditation voiced by Myleene herself.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking about the collaboration, Myleene told us: “I\u2019m really excited to team up with Life360 to launch the Parental Panic Hotline, as I know all too well how overwhelming the back-to-school period can be.<\/p>\n

“Parents can call the hotline to hear motivational messages from me, enjoy a relaxing meditation, or simply scream into the void\u2014all of which are big stress relievers for me.”<\/p>\n

She added: “I think with all the attention being on the kids as they head back to school, it\u2019s important we recognise there are parents, carers, aunties and uncles all propping up these kids and they might need a bit of support and acknowledgement too.<\/p>\n

“They\u2019re essentially the engine room. No one has it easy, and whilst it\u2019s a privilege to have and raise our children, it\u2019s also really hard work and can feel like everyone\u2019s got it sorted and you\u2019re flailing at times. There\u2019s power in vulnerability and solidarity!”<\/p>\n
