A man will appear in court after police seized two knives earlier this week. Aaron Denmark, of Livingstone Road, Leasowe<\/a>, was charged with two counts of possessing a knife blade\/sharp pointed article<\/a> in a public place. He was detained in Hoylake<\/a> on Wednesday and police say they seized two knives.<\/p>\n The 52-year-old was conditionally bailed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, November 14. The arrest is linked to a police scene in Livingstone Road which saw two large white tents erected outside a house <\/a>on Friday (September 5). Neighbours said police were first seen in the area on Wednesday.<\/p>\n They told the ECHO they first noticed an increased presence of officers <\/a>and multiple sightings of Merseyside Police’s Matrix vans patrolling the area on Thursday (September 4) and Friday, September 5.<\/p>\n The tents could be seen in the front garden of the property<\/a> with a wooden board laid underneath them. One of the tents, left partially uncovered, revealed what appeared to be a well decorated with fairy lights. The second tent remained fully enclosed from public view.<\/p>\n A force incident manager for Merseyside Police<\/a> told the ECHO <\/a>on Friday a “crime scene is in place” and that officers were conducting an “ongoing search” at property which has been ongoing for a few days now.<\/p>\n One woman described feeling “unnerved” at the sight of the police scene. She said: “The tents went up on Friday morning<\/a>, and I saw the Matrix vans going up and down the street. It\u2019s a bit unnerving, to be honest. No one\u2019s got a clue what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n “We don\u2019t have much going on round here, it’s usually quiet. The lady that lives there doesn\u2019t come out much, she\u2019s quite elderly. That\u2019s all I know.”<\/p>\n One man reported seeing a large police scene earlier in the week. He said: “There was armed police round the shop on Wednesday night when I was going into work. There were loads of police at the top of the estate.<\/p>\n Another person described seeing a significant police presence over the last two days. They said: “It’s all very strange. The [police] vans are there from about 9am till around 5pm.<\/p>\n “Then it is just a few, normally in two unmarked cars.
