Edinburgh locals were left in awe after noticing a strange phenomenon in the night sky on Friday, September 5.<\/p>\n
Residents across the city shared images on social media of what appeared to be a Scottish flag, made by the reflection of the moon and two overlapping clouds.<\/p>\n
The bright, almost full moon, lit up the two straight clouds in a cross formation perfectly giving patriots across the city a spectacular sight.<\/p>\n

I saw it from my sitting room window.”<\/p>\n Another said: “Who put the flag up there ? Awesome.”<\/p>\n While a third added: “So glad someone got a good pic!
