Thomas Tuchel has already won over a large number of England <\/a>players. The German has had an up and down start to life as the Three Lions boss, his first international job as a manager.<\/a><\/p>\n His reign began with efficient \u2013 yet unconvincing \u2013 World Cup qualifying wins over Albania, Latvia and Andorra<\/a>, before a concerning 3-1 friendly loss to Senegal at Molineux<\/a>. The jury will likely remain out on the former Chelsea<\/a> and Bayern Munich<\/a> manager until the World Cup, assuming England manage to qualify from their group, which also features Serbia, the only side they’re yet to face.<\/p>\n However, that hasn’t stopped his squad from giving their opinion on him, including the likes of Noni Madueke, Harry Kane<\/a> and John Stones<\/a>.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Raheem Sterling fronts new three-man Chelsea ‘bomb squad’ as \u00a3325k-a-week star sets stance<\/a>READ MORE: Thomas Tuchel shares stance on Mason Greenwood England return after Jamaica snub<\/a>Noni Madueke<\/p>\n Madueke arrived at Chelsea after the German\u2019s shock sacking at Stamford Bridge, but the now Arsenal<\/a> winger already appears to have been given the Tuchel treatment. When asked about life under the Three Lions boss, Madueke made it crystal clear everybody who wears an England shirt knows what he wants.<\/p>\n The winger said: “He [Tuchel] is very intense. very clear with what he wants. He has high standards. He doesn’t allow anyone to drop under them. That’s the kind of coach that will benefit England.\u201d<\/p>\n Morgan Gibbs-White will never forget his first ever interaction with Tuchel. The Nottingham Forest<\/a> midfielder was unhappy with the England boss, as he had initially been snubbed for the first international squad of his reign.<\/p>\n But after a series of late pull-outs, Gibbs-White got the call from the German. Speaking about his time with Tuchel, the ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder said: “To be fair, [Tuchel] has been incredible. I think he has done [that] with most of the players.<\/p>\n “I think as soon as he got the job he has been in contact with the majority of the players. He is a really easy-going sort of guy, nice to speak to. I felt it was top from him, really good starting that relationship with us before even meeting us.”<\/p>\n Having previously worked with Tuchel at Bayern Munich, scoring 44 goals and contributing 12 assists in 45 games under the ex-Chelsea boss, Kane knew what England would be getting under the German. When his appointment was confirmed, the skipper was asked to compare Tuchel with Southgate.<\/p>\n Kane said: “I had a great relationship with Gareth, we were similar in a lot of ways – quite quiet and understanding. We had a lot of conversations about things. Thomas brings a lot more energy and enthusiasm, already in the training sessions and meetings.<\/p>\n “He has a lot of passion when he’s talking. I saw a lot of it last season, and he was a big reason why I went to Bayern in the first place. I know his attributes and how good a coach he is. All the boys have been impressed with him, now we’re just excited to get out there and start the next chapter.”<\/p>\n Stones has suffered a large amount of injuries since the Euro 2024 final which have ruled him out of Tuchel\u2019s first two England squads. However, determined to ensure the Manchester City<\/a> defender still feels a part of the squad, the England boss invited Stones to the squad\u2019s training camp in Girona, which also saw the players attend the Barcelona<\/a> F1 Grand Prix.<\/p>\n Explaining what Tuchel\u2019s gesture meant to him, Stones said: “It was really nice. Change of scenery for me and to be welcomed and asked to go with the team was really nice to be with the guys and be around the players after the season. I love being around the players after the season.<\/p>\n \u201cI felt very welcomed and wanted. Hopefully I can bring something else. I wasn\u2019t able to be in that squad but to maybe see it from a different angle, my leadership skills towards the players joining for the first time or the players who haven\u2019t been there very long.
