The senior royal attended the Women&#8217;s Rugby World Cup held at Sandy Park Stadium in <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.devonlive.com\/all-about\/exeter\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Exeter<\/a> today (September 6) to support Wales in their match against Fiji this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The Prince of Wales, who is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, was photographed at the game. The match ended at 28-25 to Fiji, leaving Wales at a loss for this weekend. Prince William can be seen \u2018straight faced\u2019 as he watches the rest of the match.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Meanwhile, Princess Kate was supporting England\u2019s side at a separate match in East Sussex, continuing their well known \u2018rivalry\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/0_AN_DL_06-09-25_PrinceWilliam.jpg\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>The Prince of Wales during the Women&#8217;s Rugby World Cup 2025 pool B match at Sandy Park, Exeter(Image: Ben Birchall\/PA Wire)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The Exeter outing comes during a busy week for the Royals. On Thursday (September 4), the pair made a joint appearance visiting the Natural History Museum gardens in London, the focus of their visit was on encouraging environmental awareness and outdoor learning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The couple also paid tribute this week following the death of the Duchess of Kent on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Later this year, William and Kate are expected to move into Forest Lodge, an eight bedroom home in Windsor Great Park described as their \u2018forever home\u2019.
