Police were called to a Greater Manchester restaurant at lunchtime today (September 6) following reports a number of diners had been taken ill.<\/p>\n
Emergency services attended Dosa Kingss on on Northenden Road, Sale<\/a>, at around 12.40pm. It is understood several customers were treated inside the restaurant after becoming unwell.<\/p>\n According to Greater Manchester Police<\/a>, people were treated at the scene for ‘minor reactions’. Another diner is believed to have ben affected more seriously.<\/p>\n The Manchester Evening News understands the incident is related to food eaten at the South Indian street kitchen and bar.<\/p>\n Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and police spent several hours managing the area. Pictures from the scene shared on social media showed a significant response by the emergency services.<\/p>\n Northenden Road was closed for a time while police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the scene.
