Dejan Kulusevski has been out of Tottenham\u2019s side with a knee injury since last season with the Swede expected to miss most of 2025\u2019s action.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kulusevski<\/a> was a bright spark for Tottenham last season and new manager Thomas Frank<\/a> will be awaiting his return to the side.<\/p>\n

Along with Kulusevski, Frank is also without Dominic Solanke and James Maddison in his forward areas<\/a>, with his squad looking thin at the top end of the pitch. <\/p>\n

The summer transfer window has seen attacking reinforcements come to the club but Frank will be wanting Kulusevski back and firing soon.<\/p>\n

Xavi Simons<\/a> is the natural replacement for Kulusevski, while Mohammed Kudus<\/a> can also operate in wide areas for Frank in the Swede\u2019s absence. <\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram<\/a>, Kulusevski issued a stomach churning update on his knee injury, showing the extent of the damage the Swedish international is facing, by posting an image of his surgery taking place. <\/p>\n

Kulusevski captioned the graphic post with a warning, saying: \u201cWarning for sensitive content. Thank god it happened [the surgery] so I could see it clear [the extent of the damage].\u201d<\/p>\n

Among those to respond and show their support for Kulusevski was Sweden teammate and Newcastle United winger Anthony Elanga<\/a>, who responded with a GIF, referencing Jackie Chan saying: \u201cBe water my friend.\u201d <\/p>\n

The post will no doubt be a blow to Tottenham fans who would have been hoping for a more positive update, but it appears that Kulusevski will be out of action until the new year.<\/p>\n

Frank\u2019s side are off to a blistering start in the Premier League, having won two of their opening games, including a 2-0 victory over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. <\/p>\n
