Wrexham once again have some players on the international stage, with this month\u2019s international break seeing some of Phil Parkinson\u2019s new signings on display.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After 17 years without a player in the Welsh side, Wrexham<\/a> are now back with representatives for the country, and there are a few of them too.<\/p>\n

Several Wrexham players are on international duty<\/a> this month with Danny Ward, Nathan Broadhead and Kieffer Moore<\/a> all called up for Wales.<\/p>\n

Ward and Broadhead though withdrew with injury, but Moore stayed and scored the only goal as Wales beat Kazakhstan 1-0 in a World Cup qualifier<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

As well as becoming the first Wrexham player to play for Wales since Steve Evans in 2008, he also becomes the first Wrexham player to score for Wales since Chris Lewellyn<\/a> in 2006.<\/p>\n

If enough records weren\u2019t broken when Moore scored for Wales, the 33-year-old striker also earned his landmark 50th cap for the country, with 15 goals making him the joint 11th top scorer in Wales football history.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s another impressive feat for the former Sheffield United man who moved to the Racecourse<\/a> this summer, and who has since rediscovered his scoring form with four goals in five games for Phil Parkinson\u2019s<\/a> side in all competitions.<\/p>\n

Speaking after earning his 50th cap, Moore said: \u201cFrom the first cap to this milestone, it\u2019s been a journey filled with hard work, sacrifice and unforgettable moments. I\u2019ll never take wearing this shirt for granted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking after Wales beat Kazakhstan, Parkinson also weighed in on Moore and his brilliant recent form for club and country.<\/p>\n

Parkinson said of Moore\u2019s goal for Wales<\/a>: \u201cIt was a brilliant goal. It just typified him really, the bravery of the goal. Kieffer\u2019s had this problem with his ankle ligament since the Southampton game.<\/p>\n

\u201cIdeally, we\u2019d like to have had him some time for it to settle but he was keen to go and join up with the squad and we were more than happy for him to do that. I\u2019m sure that the medical team over there will assess him.\u201d<\/p>\n

With Moore carrying a slight knock, Parkinson will certainly be worried about him being sidelined: not only is he the main man for Wrexham right now, but Parkinson doesn\u2019t really have a like-for-like replacement who could come in and act as that target man in attack.<\/p>\n
