At \u00a374million, the arrival of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig was without doubt the most eye-catching signing of the summer for Manchester United.<\/p>\n
United<\/a> were in desperate need of a new forward, particularly after Rasmus Hojlund<\/a> and Joshua Zirkzee<\/a> managed just seven Premier League goals between them last season, and Sesko<\/a> was deemed to be the man to end their goalscoring woes.<\/p>\n The 22-year-old scored 21 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season but it is safe to say he has not hit the ground running at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n He is yet to start a Premier League game, featuring for just 80 minutes across United’s first three league matches, and his only start came in the shock Carabao Cup defeat to League Two side Grimsby Town.<\/p>\n Sesko joined up with his Slovenia international team-mates at the start of the week and told the local media he was surprised at just how high the level was in England compared to Germany.<\/p>\n \u201cThe level of the matches is certainly much higher, the players and teammates are also at a higher level. After all, English football is at the highest level in the world of football,\u201d Sesko told Ekipa<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I am very much looking forward to the coming period, also because I am getting better and faster in every training session, and I am also progressing in my football mentality every day.<\/p>\n “I wanted to move to England and, fortunately, my wish came true.\u201d<\/p>\n That coming period starts with a trip to Manchester City in the first Manchester derby of the season and he will be hoping to return to Manchester with a spring in his step after a positive international break.<\/p>\n He certainly made the perfect start on Friday evening as he created a last gasp equaliser in Slovenia’s 2-2 draw with Sweden in Ljubljana.<\/p>\n Sesko somehow held off the Swedish defence while juggling the ball in mid-air. He managed to find his team-mate Zan Vipotnik who fired beyond goalkeeper Robin Olsen to secure a vital point for Slovenia.<\/p>\n
