\n JPL Flavours has this week opened its new premises in Bromborough. The move to the new premises is part of the business’s expansion this year, with a new 75,000 square foot factory.\n<\/p>\n
\n The new site features a range of new advanced facilities, made possible through the \u00a311,0000,000 investment into the space.\n<\/p>\n
\n Jake Lavelle, Managing Director and Founder, said: \u201cWe are on a mission to raise the bar for innovation in the industry, and we are so proud to do this from our new home in Bromborough.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cWhen choosing how we scaled the business, it was always important to me that this space was in the area I had grown up and it could be somewhere we could really nurture local talent and create amazing flavours from.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n The space also features a selection of AI support throughout. In addition, the headquarters features 16 team labs where customers can work alongside JPL staff to create sweet, savoury, and beverage flavours, utilising state-of-the-art technology.\n<\/p>\n
\n As a teenage, Mr Lavelle, from Bebington, became a junior flavourist at Wirral-based Hagelin, a firm that was eventually bought out by a rival.\n<\/p>\n
\n When the former Hagelin site went up for rent, Mr Lavelle took it as \u201can omen\u201d to start his own flavourings company there in 2014.\n <\/p>\n
