Clamour is growing for a fight between Carl Froch<\/a> and Darren Till<\/a>, and now Froch\u2019s former promoter Eddie Hearn<\/a> has had his say.<\/p>\n

Froch is a former super-middleweight world champion who held various belts on more than one occasion. He is one of the standout Brits of his generation, and he famously ended his career in 2014 with a knockout of George Groves at Wembley.<\/p>\n

He has been happily retired ever since, but a growing beef with former UFC star Till has now spilt over into talk of a potential clash in the boxing ring.<\/a><\/p>\n

Till is 32 and last weekend knocked out former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold in his third boxing match, while \u2018The Cobra\u2019 is now 48.<\/p>\n

Speaking on iFL TV<\/a>, Hearn expressed his intrigue at seeing the two come to blows.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love the fight. I love the fight. You know why I love the fight? Cause I think Darren Till is a decent boxer but I think even by his own admission, he couldn\u2019t lace Carl Froch\u2019s boots pound-for-pound when Carl was what he was, but that was along time ago.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne, Darren is bigger, and two, Carl hasn\u2019t boxed for 10 years. Carl was brilliant, Carl is so tough, but you\u2019re just not the same when you start getting hit on the chin again. I think it\u2019s a cracking match-up, I really do.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think Carl should be boxing again, but this is a bit different. He won\u2019t do it. I don\u2019t think there is enough money for Carl, \u2019cause if Carl got beat by Darren Till, it would be a tough pill to swallow \u2026 The age and the size makes it, dare I say, a 50\/50. I don\u2019t know, I don\u2019t want to insult Carl.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
