Patrick Bamford is yet to find a new club after leaving Leeds United late last month.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bamford\u2019s Leeds contract was mutually terminated<\/a> as it became clear that the Whites could not find a potential suitor to take the former England international off their hands.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke<\/a> informed Bamford<\/a> that he was not part of his plans for the Premier League, and unsurprisingly so, given the striker\u2019s goal return over the last few seasons.<\/p>\n

Bamford\u2019s contract at Leeds was extremely lucrative<\/a>, but finding a new club where he can earn a similar amount will prove to be tricky for the free agent.<\/p>\n

The striker, now 32, was at Leeds for seven years before leaving, with Bamford becoming a key part of Marcelo Bielsa\u2019s side<\/a> as he enjoyed his most fruitful spell at Elland Road<\/a> under the Argentinian manager.<\/p>\n

Whilst it looks like an almost impossible task for Bamford to recapture that old form at this stage, given his injury issues, there are still some exciting possibilities the forward could pursue in the twilight of his career.<\/p>\n

According to Alan Nixon<\/a> on Patreon<\/a> on 7 September, Bamford is said to be hoping for a move to America to play in the MLS after leaving the West Yorkshire outfit.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s shared that the striker has been pursued by a few domestic clubs since his Leeds release, but Bamford\u2019s priority is to get his move to America.<\/p>\n

With Bamford struggling to integrate himself into Farke\u2019s starting XI across the previous two seasons, it is clear why the striker would prefer to play his football across the pond.<\/p>\n

With the former Leeds man coming to the end of his career, battling for another promotion in the Championship would make little sense, as if the club he did play for were promoted, he would likely be ostracised again, as it is clear Bamford is no longer cut out to be a Premier League footballer.<\/p>\n
