Dmitry Bivol<\/a> has revealed who he believes to be the best fighter on the planet, pound-for-pound.<\/p>\n

The Russian superstar achieved his career long dream of becoming the undisputed light-heavyweight champion earlier this year when he defeated countryman Artur Beterbiev in their much anticipated rematch.<\/p>\n

Bivol beat Beterbiev via majority decision at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on February 22, avenging the defeat that he suffered to the 40-year-old just four months earlier.<\/p>\n

The Russian duo were expected to meet in a trilogy showdown, however talks seem to have stalled and Beterbiev is fighting in November as Bivol recovers from an injury.<\/p>\n

Another option the now three-belt champion, after he vacated the WBC belt to be picked up by David Benavidez, is a rematch with Canelo Alvarez<\/a>. However, the Mexican must first overcome Terence Crawford, and Bivol believes he has his hands full.<\/p>\n

Speaking to DAZN Boxing, Bivol paid homage to unbeaten American star, calling him the best active fighter on the planet.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrawford is amazing, not just good, he\u2019s amazing \u2026 I think he should be in the book for how to learn boxing you know \u2026 Yeah probably he is [P4P number 1] now because he\u2019s undisputed champion in two weight classes.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u2018Bud\u2019 Crawford is less than one week away from facing Mexican superstar Canelo for the undisputed super-middleweight championship in Las Vegas on September 13.<\/a><\/p>\n
