Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> reportedly still wants to bring wife Meghan Markle<\/strong> and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, across the pond to his native England \u2014 even after losing his security trial.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the U.K.,\u201d a friend of the 40-year-old prince anonymously told The Times of London <\/a>on Saturday, September 6. \u201cHe wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here. He really would like to come back to the U.K. much more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry and Meghan, 43, left London for Montecito, California,<\/a> in 2020 after stepping down from their duties as senior working royals. The pair now live a private life in America with Archie, 6, and Lili, 4.<\/p>\n

After the move, Harry tirelessly fought for enhanced security protections whenever their family returned to England. The Duke of Sussex lost his court case in May.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a new family photo following his public plea to reconcile with his father, King Charles III. Meghan shared a black-and-white picture via Instagram on Saturday, May 3, showing Harry, 40, walking with the couple\u2019s two children \u2014 Archie, born May 2019, and Lilibet (a.k.a. Lili), born 2021. Lili [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t see a world in which I would bring my wife and children back to the U.K. at this point,\u201d Harry told the BBC<\/a> after the verdict was rendered. \u201cI love my country, I always have done, despite what some people in that country have done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry further noted that he found it \u201creally quite sad\u201d that Archie and Lili likely wouldn\u2019t be able to return to England as a result.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love reconciliation with my family. There\u2019s no point in continuing to fight anymore,\u201d he told the BBC. \u201cThere have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harry\u2019s move and decision to step away from his royal duties caused a rift with his father, King Charles III<\/strong>, and his older brother, Prince William<\/strong>. While the two siblings have yet to clear the air<\/a>, Harry has already tried to broker peace with his 76-year-old dad.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tPrince Harry is hoping for a sense of security before bringing any his family \u2014 Meghan Markle and their two kids Prince Archie and Princess Lillibet \u2014 back to the U.K. for visits. \u201cHe wants to ensure the safety of himself and his family while in the U.K. so his children can know his home [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n

\u201cLife is precious. I don\u2019t know how much longer my father has,\u201d Harry added to the BBC. \u201cHe won\u2019t speak to me because of this security stuff, but it would be nice to reconcile.\u201d<\/p>\n

Charles was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer in 2024, quickly inspiring Harry to fly across the pond for a visit. Harry will next visit the U.K. to attend the WellChild Awards on Monday, September 8, though it is not known whether he will spend time with Charles.<\/p>\n
