Rashford<\/a> is settling into life at Barcelona, having joined on loan<\/a> from Manchester United<\/a> this summer. The La Liga champions will be covering Rashford’s wages during his time at Camp Nou – a move that is anticipated to save United approximately \u00a31 2million.<\/p>\n

Barcelona<\/a> also have the option to make his transfer to Catalonia permanent for \u00a326m next summer. The 27-year-old has been selected for Thomas Tuchel’s England squad – for World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia in September – as the Three Lions edge closer to qualifying for next summer’s tournament in the USA.<\/p>\n

The Reds academy graduate was criticised in some quarters for his performance during England’s 2-0 win over Andorra. The Telegraph<\/a> were among his critics – arguing that he “disappeared” against the European minnows at Villa Park.<\/p>\n

And Rashford has posted an update on social media platform Instagram<\/a> after Saturday’s win in Birmingham. “Villa Park bringing us closer to our goal!” he said. “Great team performance, now it\u2019s all eyes on Tuesday\u2019s big game”<\/p>\n

Rashford’s post has received support in the form of likes from United defenders Leny Yoro and Tyrell Malacia, as well as a like from England teammate Jack Grealish.<\/p>\n

Tuchel has admitted that Rashford has struggled to live up to his potential in an England shirt. “He struggles a bit with numbers and with the \u2018wow\u2019 performance in an England shirt, I agree,\u201d Tuchel said post-match.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut as long as he trains like he did and behaves and is active and alive in the group, then we will always trust him and push him and support him. I can see that he tries, this is for me the most important that he stays positive and he trains at the moment with the right attitude, with a smile and with a lot of quality.”<\/p>\n
