A moving fireworks tribute has been held for an Edinburgh <\/a>man who died last week.<\/p>\n

Police <\/a>were called to Great Junction Street in the capital<\/a> at around 2am on Tuesday, September 2, where 22-year-old John McNab was found injured and later died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Family and friends gathered at Leith Links at 8pm on Saturday, September 6, for a memorial in his honour.<\/p>\n

The tribute was organised by John\u2019s girlfriend, Aimee, and his friends, with hundreds turning out to release balloons and lanterns before a fireworks display lit up the night sky.<\/p>\n

Drone footage captured the stunning red and gold fireworks over the Edinburgh <\/a>skyline, with the large crowd paying their respects below.<\/p>\n

Stacey Rebecca, John’s big sister, told Edinburgh Live:<\/a> “A couple of hundred friends and family gathered to remember John, how funny, kind and loving he was.<\/p>\n

“We all gathered and remembered our memories together, where we let off lanterns written with memories and fireworks.<\/p>\n

“Looking around it showed just how loved John is, how many people\u2019s lives he touched, and how much he will be missed.<\/p>\n

“The support touched the hearts of everyone especially the family.
