Crews will remain at the scene in Smethwick\"SmokeSmoke pours from a house fire in Smethwick<\/p>\n

Around 24 fire fighters have battled a fierce house blaze in Smethwick.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Fire Service was called to Dunsford Road on Sunday morning (September 7) where they found a terraced property alight.<\/p>\n

A cordon was set up and the flames extinguished.<\/p>\n

The crews will remain at the scene for the next few hours.<\/p>\n

Images taken of the incident show thick smoke filling the air and a gutted out property.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Fire Service said: “This morning we attended a house fire in Smethwick<\/a>, where 6 fire engines were called to scene.<\/p>\n

“The first fire engine was in attendance in less than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

“Crews will remain on scene for the next few hours.”<\/p>\n
