The two teams split Sunday Foursomes, each winning two matches, helping the U.S. maintain its one-point advantage heading into the 10 afternoon singles matches. The USA needs only 4.5 points to retain the Walker Cup, which would be its fifth straight win.<\/p>\n<p>Cypress Point is <a href=\"https:\/\/golfweek.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/golf\/2025\/06\/23\/golfweeks-best-2025-classic-top-200-golf-courses-united-states-ranked\/83863202007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ranked No. 1 on Golfweek&#8217;s Best list of Classic Courses in the U.S.<\/a>, and Sunday it will once again hosts some of the best amateurs in the world at an incredible venue.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the Sunday Singles action in the 2025 Walker Cup here for live updates, highlights, leaderboard, scores and more.<\/p>\n<p>Walker Cup live leaderboardUSA 15, GB&amp;I 8 (U.S. needs 13 points to retain cup, GB&amp;I needs 13.5 to win)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/championships.usga.org\/walkercup\/2025\/scoring.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Follow live scores\u00a0from the Walker Cup here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stewart Hagestad earns the retaining point with a birdie on the 15th hole.<\/p>\n<p>The 18 year olds can\u2019t determine a winner and finish tied. The U.S. is one point away.<\/p>\n<p>Biggest singles win so far Sunday, Ethan Fang takes down Stuart Grehan, 5-and 4, and the U.S. is even closer.<\/p>\n<p>Another one for the red, white and blue. Tommy Morrison closes his match out with a 3-and-2 win against Niall Shiels Donegan.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson Koivun beats Tyler Weaver for the second straight day in singles, and the U.S. is now only 3.5 points away from retaining the Walker Cup.<\/p>\n<p>The kid is good.<\/p>\n<p>All 10 matches are on the course, and the U.S. had the lead in eight of them. Again, it\u2019s early, but the Americans are looking to finish strong and are off to an incredible start early.<\/p>\n<p>The Americans are off to a hot start in singles. Each of the first four matches are leaning in favor of the U.S. thus far with 1-up leads in them all. He does it again on 15 to ensure the USA gets a half point in the third match.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Poulter and Charlie Forster were 4 down with eight to play. Now they\u2019re 1 down on the 15th tee. In the match behind, Stuart Grehan and Eliot Baker were also 4 down but now are 2 down on 14.<\/p>\n<p>Early on, it was a red wave on the leaderboard, but GB&amp;I leads in two of the four with the U.S. at least three up in the other two. In the first match out, Jackson Koivun and Tommy Morrison are trying to turn the tide.<\/p>\n<p>Just a simply incredible shot you have to see.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a dominant start for Preston Stout and Ethan Fang, teammates at Oklahoma State. They\u2019re 3 up thru 5 against Luke Poulter and Charlie Forster with three birdies so far.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. got off to a slow start Saturday, something captain Nathan Smith knew had to be corrected. In Saturday Singles, it was. On Saturday, there are eight singles matches, while all 10 players from each side compete in singles on Sunday. One full point is awarded for each victory, while a half-point is earned for matches that are all square after 18 holes.
