The BBC’s latest gritty thriller series <\/a>has arrived and fans can not get enough of the countless twists and turns in the striking new drama. The Guest<\/a> is one of the several binge worthy TV shows <\/a>which is kicking off the impressive selection of dramas on the broadcaster this autumn and it seems like everyone is talking about it.<\/p>\n

Filmed and set in Wales, the four-part thriller series focuses on the toxic relationship between business owner Fran and her cleaner, Ria. Welsh star Eve Myles plays powerful business owner Fran Sharp in the BBC thriller while Gabrielle Creevy stars as Fran’s cleaner Ria Powell.<\/p>\n

The Guest<\/a> aired earlier this week on September 1 and will be released in weekly episodes on Monday evenings on BBC One. However, some fans who couldn’t wait have already rushed to iPlayer to binge watch all four episodes.<\/p>\n

The show has received a lot of praise online with many viewers and critics raving about the unexpected surprises in the plot.<\/p>\n

Plot<\/p>\n

The gripping four-part series tells the story of Fran and Ria whose lives have become dangerously interlocked by shared secrets and an obsessive co-dependence.<\/p>\n

Their relationship, described as a psychological game of cat-and-mouse”, becomes dangerous and manipulative.<\/p>\n

The official synopsis for The Guest reads: “The Guest is a fast-paced story that centres on the toxic and beguiling relationship between a successful business owner, Fran (Eve Myles), and her employee, Ria (Gabrielle Creevy).<\/p>\n
