Woolwich Carnival:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The annual celebration of music, dance, art and community fun where residents come together to celebrate the borough\u2019s diversity.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year the Carnival is celebrating 10 years and featured Nigeria Cultural Festival as part of the Royal Greenwich Festivals. <\/p>\n

Highlights include a Benin Masquerade performance and parade, Africa mask workshops and Afrobeat DJ Music and dancing. <\/p>\n

There will also be an pop-up market and an art exhibition. <\/p>\n

Greenwich open studios:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Greenwich Open Studios 2025 will take place over two weekends in September and offers a unique opportunity or the public to meet local artists and see their work firsthand.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artists will be opening their studios away from the formal settings of commercial galleries. For those who want to purchase art, there are no dealers\u2019 commissions, which means prices are more affordable. <\/p>\n

Attendees can pick up a map of the artists\u2019 locations at a starting point or simply use a Google List Map to plan and stay on the route.\u00a0You can\u00a0download the artists and studio map\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Astronomy Photographer of the year 17:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Visit\u00a0ZWO Astronomy Photographer of the Year, and see the world\u2019s greatest space photography\u00a0at the National Maritime Museum.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Astronomy Photographer of the Year is an annual competition featuring the world\u2019s greatest space photography. Photographers from across the globe compete to take home the prestigious title.<\/p>\n

Over 100 photographs will be shown at the museum, starting on 12 September until summer 2026. <\/p>\n
