After months of speculation, The Celebrity Traitors<\/a> line-up finally arrived to reveal that the likes of Stephen Fry<\/a> and Charlotte Church<\/a> will be leading the way.<\/p>\n

The cast photos with their idiosyncratic angles have been assembled on the Scottish castle wall<\/a>, waiting to see which will be dropped to the floor first by host Claudia Winkleman<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The BBC<\/a> One reality show smash has assembled a line-up of 19 famous faces<\/a>, including household names like Alan Carr<\/a> and Kate Garraway<\/a>, to decamp via steam train to the Scottish Highlands.<\/p>\n

Alongside the roster, the BBC has shared a teaser to whet fan appetites ahead of the nine-part release this autumn. In the clip, the table is fully laid for a classic Traitors breakfast scene, complete with a nearby framed portrait of a resplendent Claudia.<\/p>\n

As the camera zooms over photos of the actors, comedians and singers <\/a>taking part, she can be heard telling fans: \u2018Look at all those famous faces. Smiling. Popular. Talented. Clever. Respected.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018All hoping that we\u2019ll play nicely because they\u2019re celebrities. They couldn\u2019t be more wrong.\u2019<\/p>\n

Claudia added in a statement from the BBC: \u2018We\u2019re incredibly lucky these brilliant people have said yes. I\u2019d love to say we\u2019ll take it easy on them and they\u2019ll just wander round the castle and eat toast for a couple of weeks but that would be a lie.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The celebrities will be divided up into the Traitors and the Faithful in the hopes of winning a cash prize up to \u00a3100,000 for a charity of their choice.<\/p>\n

The filming of that season has wrapped, as Richard Osman<\/a> shared with listeners on The Rest is Entertainment podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He said he had spoken to a number of the contestants at the Baftas<\/a>, who were \u2018admirably tight-lipped\u2019 about how the filming had gone.<\/p>\n

He said: \u2018The thing everyone was saying was, it is a lot more intense than you think it\u2019s going to be. <\/p>\n

\u2018If you were to win it, you\u2019re there for two weeks. There\u2019s no phones, you\u2019re not watching TV, you\u2019re kept sort of isolated because of the nature of the game.\u2019<\/p>\n

So who exactly will be walking through the castle doors and go head to head at the roundtable and when will we be able to watch it? Here\u2019s the full list of the 2025 line-up:<\/p>\n

Who\u2019s in the cast of Celebrity Traitors 2025?
\nAlan Carr<\/p>\n

Comedian and Interior Design Masters<\/a> host Alan Carr is first up on the star-studded list to enter the castle and vie for the cash prize. No stranger to reality TV, Carr will likely be at home on The Traitors.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He might even have something of an edge, as a self-professed Agatha Christie obsessive. Carr explored his literary heroine and her famous characters\u00a0 Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot on the 2022 show Alan Carr\u2019s Adventures With Agatha Christie.<\/p>\n

Cat Burns<\/p>\n

Cat Burns<\/a>, 24, is a singer-songwriter and will be the youngest celebrity in the castle. <\/p>\n

We know she\u2019s clued up on The Traitors after featuring in the BBC\u2019s social media watch-along for the latest season of the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Celia Imrie<\/p>\n

Bridget Jones<\/a> actor Celia Imrie is an inspired addition to the line-up, as she\u2019s set to star in the film adaptation of Richard Osman\u2019s<\/a> The Thursday Murder Club book.<\/p>\n

Perhaps she learnt a few clues about solving murder mysteries while filming?<\/p>\n

Charlotte Church<\/p>\n

Next up is another phenomenal name in showbiz: Charlotte Church<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 39-year-old singing powerhouse certainly knows how to keep a secret, after appearing on The Masked Singer<\/a>, and so could be in contention for a spot as a Traitor.<\/p>\n

Clare Balding<\/p>\n

Sports journalist and broadcaster Clare Balding<\/a> is the fifth celebrity in the line-up. <\/p>\n

Like Alan Carr, she\u2019s a fan of the murder mystery maven Agatha Christie and even visited Christie\u2019s holiday home \u2013 and the inspiration of one of her stories \u2013 as part of the travel series Tales from the Riverbank.\u00a0<\/p>\n

David Olusoga<\/p>\n

Esteemed historian David Olusoga<\/a> has an illustrious career presenting historical documentaries under his belt. <\/p>\n

So can he add another accolade and conquer the inaugural Celebrity Traitors?\u00a0<\/p>\n

Joe Marler<\/p>\n

Former England rugby player Joe Marler, 34, retired from international rugby last year. <\/a><\/p>\n

Joe Wilkinson<\/p>\n

Perhaps he will have a better go of it at the roundtable in the Scottish castle, where laughing is at least allowed.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Ross<\/p>\n

These gigs could stand him in good stead in the castle, where the ability to judge who\u2019s who will prove key.<\/p>\n

Kate Garraway<\/p>\n

Good Morning Britain<\/a> presenter Kate Garraway<\/a> is the next name in this treacherous game.<\/p>\n

Garraway went into the I\u2019m A Celebrity<\/a> jungle back in 2019 and came in fourth place, so could do even better with a second go at a reality show gong.<\/p>\n

Lucy Beaumont<\/p>\n

Comedian Lucy Beaumont <\/a>will be replacing Hull with Scotland this autumn. <\/p>\n

She might be aiming to improve on her last-place score on the 16th series of Taskmaster <\/a>and avoid being the first to leave the castle.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mark Bonnar<\/p>\n

Playing the part of a detective could make the game of figuring out the Traitors from the Faithful a bit easier.<\/p>\n

Nick Mohammed<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll have to wait and see if this prediction turns out to be on the money.<\/p>\n

Niko Omilana<\/p>\n

Since politics hasn\u2019t panned out yet, Omilana might yet have more luck competing at the roundtable.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Paloma Faith\u00a0<\/p>\n

Singer-songwriter Paloma Faith<\/a> will make her reality TV debut as a competitor on Celebrity Traitors, having previously been a coach on The Voice UK.<\/p>\n

Perhaps she will change her mind about whether \u2018only love can\u2019t hurt like this\u2019 after experiencing the backstabbing that the castle comes with\u2026<\/p>\n

Ruth Codd<\/p>\n

Irish actor Ruth Codd<\/a> is best known for her role as Anya in Netflix\u2019s <\/a>The Midnight Club, a part she said that she only landed \u2018by accident\u2019, after TV bosses came across her TikTok videos talking about her disability.<\/p>\n

Since then, Codd has appeared in The Fall of the House of Usher and is set to make her film debut in How To Train Your Dragon this summer, before she takes on the Celebrity Traitors this autumn.<\/p>\n

Stephen Fry<\/p>\n

The national treasure himself. It turns out the rumours are true because multi-hyphenate brainbox Stephen Fry is indeed among the confirmed line-up.<\/p>\n

After years puzzling it out as the host of QI<\/a>, Fry will be able to turn his significant wits to this game of cat and mouse. Definitely one to watch.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tameka Empson\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fresh from Albert Square, the EastEnders <\/a>star will be the final actor rounding out the line-up for 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Empson will be taking a break from Walford and her role as Kim Fox to compete for the charity cash prize.<\/p>\n

Tom Daley<\/p>\n

The five-time Olympic medallist<\/a> is set to take a new kind of plunge this year, after retiring from professional diving.<\/p>\n

There couldn\u2019t be a better setting than the Scottish Highlands castle for Daley, who will have ample opportunity to show off his array of handmade knitted jumpers<\/a> in the nippier weather. He might even give Claudia a run for her money.<\/p>\n

When\u00a0does Celebrity Traitors start?<\/p>\n

The Celebrity Traitors is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly anticipated reality series of the year.<\/p>\n

In terms of when the series actually starts, the exact start date has not been revealed just yet.<\/p>\n

What we do know is, however, that the series will air this October.<\/p>\n

In August, the Interim BBC Director of Unscripted, Syeda Irtizaali, confirmed that the series would premiere in October 2025.<\/p>\n

As we head deeper into autumn, this means there\u2019s not long left before it all starts.<\/p>\n
