color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/newcastle-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Newcastle United<\/a> could reignite their interest in Roma striker Artem Dovbyk in the January transfer window.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both Premier League sides chased multiple striker targets over the course of the summer transfer window, but their respective outcomes were different.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Leeds landed two free agent strikers with recent histories of repeated injuries in the shape of Lukas Nmecha and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, to add to the Premier League level unproven Joel Piroe.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They did want to bring in another striker and looked at a host of options, including Roma\u2019s Dovbyk, <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/insidefutbol.com\/2025\/08\/11\/leeds-united-try-again-whites-back-in-striker-hunt\/691044\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">who they tried for on multiple occasions in August<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Newcastle managed to get two strikers through the door in the final stretch of the window as Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa arrived.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Eddie Howe though may be keen to add even more to his options as Woltemade and Wissa\u2019s arrivals have not added more depth, with the pair just replacing Callum Wilson and Alexander Isak.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Roma_Artem_Dovbyk_620_ofg.webp.webp\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Italian outlet <a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/laroma24.it\/rubriche\/la-penna-degli-altri\/2025\/09\/leeds-e-newcastle-ancora-su-dovbyk-novita-a-gennaio\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LaRoma24<\/a>, the pair returning to the hunt for Dovbyk in January cannot be ruled out.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dovbyk is not a first choice selection at Roma and has come on off the bench for both of the club\u2019s opening two Serie A matches.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<tr>\nLeeds United<br \/>\nNewcastle United<br \/>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"border: 2px solid #ddd;
