Charles was on a state visit to Italy at the time, so a meeting was impossible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">That case was itself an impediment to improved relations because it involved Harry criticizing the king\u2019s government in the courts. But once it was over, change became possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Immediately after the case ended, Harry said he would \u201clove reconciliation with my family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">\u201cThere\u2019s no point in continuing to fight anymore,\u201d he told the BBC on the day the court case was resolved. \u201cLife is precious.
