Prince Harry<\/strong> is back in the UK this week, while Meghan Markle<\/strong> remains in California along with the couple\u2019s kids. Markle and the children, Archie and Lilibet, did not accompany Harry<\/a> largely due to the ongoing concerns over the family\u2019s security. Even so, the Duke of Sussex has reportedly not let go of the thought that one day his family will return with him.<\/p>\n

Prince Harry has \u2018not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK,\u2019 friend claims<\/p>\n

With Prince Harry traveling to the UK without Meghan Markle and their kids, the spotlight is again upon the family. A friend of Harry\u2019s told The Times<\/a>, \u201cHe\u2019s not given up hope on bringing his family back to the UK. He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up.\u201d They added, \u201cHe wants them to know their family here. He really would like to come back to the UK much more.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Sussexes last visited Britain together in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s jubilee. Markle has not returned since the Queen\u2019s funeral that same year, and Archie and Lilibet have only known their father\u2019s homeland through stories and photographs. Harry\u2019s<\/a> latest visit will reportedly be busy. He will attend the WellChild Awards in London. The Duke of Sussex will then attend engagements tied to his charities, including the Invictus Foundation and others.<\/p>\n

However, the question of whether Prince Harry will meet his father remains. Currently, no meeting is reportedly scheduled, mostly because King Charles is in Balmoral, Scotland. The two haven\u2019t been seen together since February 2024, when Harry made a brief stopover after the King announced his cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, sources stated that there are no plans for contact between Prince Harry and Prince William.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Despite the tensions, Prince Harry has made it clear he wants reconciliation. Whether that door opens or whether Meghan Markle and his kids accompany him back to the UK is uncertain.
