(Photo by David Rawcliffe\/Propaganda)\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" class=\"lazy lazy-hidden alignnone size-medium wp-image-325057\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>When:<\/strong> 2026 (loan for 2025\/26 season)<br \/><strong>To:<\/strong> <a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/aston-villa\/\" title=\"Aston Villa\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Villa<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Despite being just 22 years old when it was agreed he would leave on loan for <a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/aston-villa\/\" title=\"Aston Villa\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Villa<\/a>, with an obligation to buy the following summer, Elliott spent six years at Liverpool \u2013 and he loved nearly every minute.<\/p>\n<p>After moving from <a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/fulham\/\" title=\"Fulham\" rel=\"noopener\">Fulham<\/a> to his boyhood club in 2019, Elliott went straight forced his way into the first-team squad and was present for Liverpool\u2019s 2020 <a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/premier-league\" rel=\"noopener\">Premier League<\/a> win. <\/p>\n<p><a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/jurgen-klopp\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Jurgen Klopp<\/a> became a father-like figure to the youngster as he became more and more important to the team following a successful loan at Blackburn during the 2021\/22 season. <\/p>\n<p>In total, Liverpool won six major trophies while Elliott was at the club, and it was sad to see him leave full of untapped potential.<\/p>\n<p>For <a data-ail=\"326073\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thisisanfield.com\/liverpool-fc\/aston-villa\/\" title=\"Aston Villa\" rel=\"noopener\">Aston Villa<\/a> to be obliged to buy Elliott, he must make 10 appearances for the club this season, reported the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6537949\/2025\/09\/01\/harvey-elliott-aston-villa-transfer-liverpool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>9.
