Movies to GREAT! Mystery (channel 50)\n  <\/li>\n<li>GREAT! Romance to GREAT! Christmas (channel 52)\n  <\/li>\n<li>GREAT! Mystery to GREAT! Movies (channel 61)\n  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n  Freeview warned viewers that they will require an internet-connected device to view GREAT! Movies on channel 61 between\u00a05am and 3am.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  These latest updates\u00a0have already come into effect.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  These changes come after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk\/news\/national\/uk-today\/25406435.freeview-makes-11-channel-changes-new-update---full-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Freeview shut down four channels<\/a> as part of its last update at the end of August.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Freeview said: &#8220;Channels are constantly evolving on Freeview with individual channels making the decision to move, add or remove channels.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Freeview continues to ensure that audiences can enjoy a rich and varied content\u202f.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>  How to retune your TV<\/p>\n<p>\n  You will need to retune your TV to access all the new August\u00a0channel updates.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  If you are unsure of how to retune your TV, don&#8217;t worry, it&#8217;s\u00a0simple, and usually only requires pressing\u00a0&#8216;retune&#8217; when prompted by your TV, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freeview.co.uk\/help\/retune\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Freeview<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  <strong>RECOMMENDED READING:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Retuning may vary on different devices, but in most cases, Freeview said, it can be done by following these steps:\n<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Press\u00a0menu\u00a0on your box or TV remote control.\n  <\/li>\n<li>Select \u2018set-up\u2019, \u2018installation\u2019, \u2018update\u2019 or a similar option. If you\u2019re asked for a password, the default code is \u20181234\u2019 or \u20180000\u2019.\u00a0\n  <\/li>\n<li>Select \u2018first-time installation\u2019 (sometimes called \u2018factory reset\u2019, \u2018full retune\u2019 or \u2018default settings\u2019).\n  <\/li>\n<li>Press \u2018OK\u2019 if your equipment asks if it&#8217;s OK to delete existing channels and then your retune should start automatically. If you\u2019re prompted to, save the channels that are found.\u00a0\n  <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n  Freeview added: &#8220;If you&#8217;ve already done an automatic retune and this didn&#8217;t work, you may need to do a manual retune.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  If you are still unsure, you can watch Freeview&#8217;s retune videos\u00a0for more details (available on the Freeview website).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The new update features three\u00a0changes, including\u00a0the return of a Christmas channel.
