Hit West End musical Back to the Future The Musical<\/a><\/strong> is heading out on a UK tour in 2026.<\/p>\n

The tour will kick off at the Bristol Hippodrome in October 2026, and then tour to Edinburgh, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Sunderland, and Southampton, with further dates to be announced. See tour dates here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lead Producer of Back to the Future, Colin Ingram, said in a statement: \u201cI\u2019m so delighted that the DeLorean will be travelling 88 mph to all the main theatre cities in the UK so that we can bring this heartfelt spectacle of a show to those who haven\u2019t seen it in the West End or want to see it again. Great Scott! Audiences are going to have such a fun and thrilling ride in a show which will tour in all its glory and be one of the biggest sets to come out on the road\u201d.<\/p>\n

Back to the Future is currently playing at the Adelphi Theatre in London, booking to 3 January 2026.<\/p>\n

The London production currently stars Caden Brauch<\/a><\/strong> as Marty McFly, Brian Conley<\/a><\/strong> (9 to 5 The Musical, Hairspray) as Doc Brown (until 3 November), and TikTok star Maddie Grace Jepson<\/a><\/strong> as Lorraine Baines.<\/p>\n

Last month the show celebrated its 2 millionth audience member in London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Back to the Future had its world premiere at Manchester Opera House in 2020, and opened in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre in September 2021. The show has also travelled the world, with productions on Broadway, across North America, and in Japan. The Sydney, Australia production opens next month, and a German production in Hamburg opens next year.<\/p>\n

Back to the Future also stars Orlando Gibbs<\/strong> as George McFly, C.J. Borger<\/strong> as Goldie Wilson and Marvin Berry, Alex Runicles<\/strong> as Biff Tannen, Talia Palamathanan<\/strong> as Jennifer Parker, Lee Ormsby<\/strong> as Alternate Doctor Emmett Brown and Strickland, Gracie Caine<\/strong> as Linda McFly, Liam McHugh<\/strong> as Dave McFly and Ryan Appiah-Sarpong<\/strong>, Jed Berry<\/strong>, Billie Bowman<\/strong>, Jabari Braham<\/strong>, Charlotte Coggin<\/strong>, Sia Dauda<\/strong>, Lauren Dawes<\/strong>, Alexander Day<\/strong>, Talia Duff<\/strong>, Helen Gulston<\/strong>, Oliver Halford<\/strong>, Thomas Inge<\/strong>, Stephen Lewis-Johnston<\/strong>, Adam Margilewski<\/strong>, Anna Murray<\/strong>, Samuel Nicholas<\/strong>, Brian \u00d3\u2019Muir\u00ed<\/strong>, Phoebe Roberts<\/strong>, Issie Wilman<\/strong> and Alexandra Wright<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At select performances Oliver Halford<\/strong> plays the role of Marty McFly. Oliver<\/strong> was discovered as part of the global casting call for the next Marty McFly, and this production marks his West End debut.<\/p>\n

Back to the Future is based on the Universal Pictures\/Amblin Entertainment film, and has a book by Bob Gale and new music and lyrics by Emmy and Grammy Award-winning Alan Silvestri and six-time Grammy Award-winning Glen Ballard, with additional songs from the film including The Power of Love and Johnny B. Goode.<\/p>\n

This Olivier Award-winning Best New Musical is directed by Tony Award-winning director John Rando (Urinetown, On The Town), alongside the multi Tony and Olivier Award-winning design team of Tim Hatley (set and costume design), Tim Lutkin (lighting), Hugh Vanstone (lighting consultant), Gareth Owen (sound) and Finn Ross (video), with choreography by Chris Bailey, musical supervision and arrangements by Nick Finlow, and Illusions by Chris Fisher. Orchestrations are by Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook, with dance arrangements by David Chase. Casting is by David Grindrod CDG for Grindrod Burton Casting.<\/p>\n
