The Duke of Sussex reportedly made a dig about difficult siblings \u2014 amid his strained relationship with his own brother, Prince William \u2014 while attending a reception in the UK on Monday.<\/p>\n
According to Hello! magazine<\/a>, 17-year-old WellChild Award winner Declan Bitmead was speaking with Prince Harry ahead of the 2025 WellChild Awards.<\/p>\n When Bitmead told the royal that he has a younger brother, the \u201cSpare\u201d author responded, \u201cDoes <\/strong>he drive you mad?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Prince Harry cracked a joke about siblings and \u201cchallenging\u201d relationships while speaking to 17-year-old Declan Bitmead on Monday. Getty Images<\/p>\n Harry spoke to Bitmead, a WellChild Award winner, at a reception ahead of the 2025 WellChild Awards in the UK. Harry has been a patron of WellChild, England\u2019s national charity that provides support for seriously ill children, since 2007. via REUTERS<\/p>\n When Bitmead said that they got along fine, Harry cracked, \u201cYou know what, siblings.\u201d<\/p>\n After later learning that Bitmead and his brother attend the same school, the father of two commented, \u201cThat sometimes makes it more challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n Prince Harry has been a patron of WellChild, England\u2019s national charity that provides support for seriously ill children, since 2007. In his 2023 memoir, \u201cSpare,\u201d Harry alleged that Will wanted him to act like he didn\u2019t know him when they both attended Eton College, a private, boys-only boarding school.<\/p>\n He later told Anderson Cooper in an interview for \u201960 Minutes\u201d that it hurt him.<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t make sense of it,\u201d Harry recalled. \u201cI was like, \u2018What do you mean? We\u2019re now at the same school.
