A road in Glasgow<\/a> is locked down after reports of a group of people taking unwell.<\/p>\n

Police rushed<\/a> to an incident on Cambridge Street at around 8pm on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

It is unclear what the exact circumstances behind the emergency road closure but the public have been asked to avoid the area.<\/p>\n

There is understood to be no risk to the wider public.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the force said: “Cambridge Street in Glasgow is closed at Cowcaddens following a report of a group of people having taken unwell around 8.10pm on Monday, 8 September, 2025.<\/p>\n

“Enquiries are ongoing and there is no risk to the wider public. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.”<\/p>\n
