It is a sunny morning. \" class=\"sc-d1200759-0 dvfjxj\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Large queues formed at central London bus stops <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Chris Barnes, who travels into central London from Ramsgate on the Kent coast five days a week said the strike caused his daily journey to become a 6-hour round-trip.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">He said he accepted Tube workers &#8220;were unhappy, but my sympathy has run out&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">NHS worker Rachel Edwards said she did not agree with the RMT&#8217;s demand for a 32-hour week, believing it to be &#8220;unrealistic&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">She added: &#8220;The country is in such a mess and we all need to pull together and not go on strike.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 hxuGS\">Another traveller, Paul Weallans, described the strikes as &#8220;a fact of life in London&#8221; and hoped a resolution would &#8220;not be a long time coming&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/grey-placeholder.png\" class=\"sc-d1200759-0 dkIvM hide-when-no-script\" aria-label=\"image unavailable\"\/><img decoding=\"async\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/6d2f2640-8cd3-11f0-9864-595ea7031b48.jpg.webp.webp\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"EPA A man stands with his back to the camera looking at an information board.
