\n\t\t\t\t\tPrince Harry<\/a> gave a heartfelt speech about Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton on their wedding day \u2014 after first making a few jokes at his brother’s expense. “In his best man’s toast, Harry apologized to Kate ‘for having to marry a bald man,'” royal expert Christopher Andersen<\/strong> wrote in his book Brothers and Wives, adding that Harry also referred to Will and Kate as the “dude and the duchess.” The laughs turned to tears when he mentioned his late mother, Princess Diana<\/strong>. “There were muffled sobs when Harry told his brother, ‘Our mother would be so very proud of you,’ and sighs when he said he loved Kate like a sister,” Andersen wrote. <\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\tChristopher Andersen wrote that Kate Middleton “wiped away tears when her newly minted brother-in-law,” Prince Harry<\/a>, “traded smiles” with his then-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy<\/strong>, and said that Kate’s “decade-long romance” with his brother, Prince William<\/a>, was his “inspiration.” <\/p>\n
\n\t\t\t\t\tPrince Harry<\/a> shared an emotional embrace with Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton following the speech. “Harry put his arms around William and Kate and began to weep,” Christopher Andersen wrote, adding that “soon the best man and the bride were helping brush away each other’s tears while a bemused and thoroughly dry-eyed William looked on.” <\/p>\n
