David and Victoria Beckham have been accused of mocking Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a post about jam amid their reported fallout\"DavidDavid spent the weekend cooking(Image: David Beckham\/Instagram)<\/p>\n

David and Victoria Beckham have been accused of making a dig at Meghan Markle<\/a> and her As Ever products. The Duchess of Sussex released her own set of products, including jam and marmalade.<\/p>\n

The Beckhams were good friends with Meghan and had reportedly reached out to support her when she first moved to London. Victoria was said to have lent Meghan her little black book of her favourite hairdressers and stylist and then further details were released about their friendship, prompting speculation from Meghan that it was Victoria who “leaked” the stories.<\/p>\n

From there, a conversation was allegedly held between friends Prince Harry<\/a> and David. A source said: “Harry was very polite, but it was a pretty awkward exchange and David was mortified. Inexplicably, [Meghan] feared Victoria was behind it \u2014 I mean, the idea that Victoria Beckham<\/a> would be personally ringing journalists to give them a scoop is ridiculous \u2014 and spoke to Harry about it.”<\/p>\n

The pair went to Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 but relations reportedly soured since then and now it is believed the two couples are not as close as they used to be.<\/p>\n

It led some fans to speculate that Victoria and David’s recent post about their homemade jam was a dig at both their son Brooklyn – who recently made his own jam – and Meghan, who has her own range of fruit spreads.<\/p>\n

In the clip, she says: “So we’ve had a weekend of cooking … Well you have, I’ve been watching! You’ve been making lots of jam and look what you’ve made – David Beckjam! He’s very proud. How many Beckjams have you made darling? You’re quite the entrepreneur.”<\/p>\n

A source told the Mail: “Victoria has got a very wicked sense of humour. I think the jam video is aimed at Brooklyn, for sure. I think Victoria, in her voiceover, may also be having a pop at Meghan.<\/p>\n

Fans pointed out the dig at Meghan, who recently launched the second series of her Netflix<\/a> show With Love.<\/p>\n

“Meghan and Harry must have really p***ed off a lot of people – David Beckham<\/a> spent an afternoon in his kitchen, cooked up some plum jam, and was infinitely more watchable than that With Love nonsense,” one person quipped.<\/p>\n

Another added: “David Beckham has had more interest in his jam and he’s not even selling it’.”<\/p>\n

Meghan’s raspberry fruit spread was “inspired by the recipe Meghan crafted in her home kitchen”, the website claims. The description reads: “Where it all began \u2013 this signature As ever Raspberry Spread is inspired by the recipe Meghan crafted in her home kitchen.
