Paramount<\/a>\u2018s U.K. chief Sarah Rose is set to leave the studio to become CEO at the Foundation, taking over from Amanda Berry, who left her role as BAFTA CEO to take the same position in 2022. <\/p>\n\n\tA hugely respected TV exec, Rose has been president of Paramount\u2019s Channel 5 and the studio\u2019s U.K. regional lead since February 2024. In a note to staff sent on Tuesday, she said joining the Foundation was \u201ccareer-defining, unique role which I simply could not turn down.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tRose will stay at Paramount in role until the end of 2025 to ensure a successful transition, with Kevin MacLellan, president international and global content distribution overseeing the process of finding a successor. Ben Frow will continue to lead 5 creatively as chief content officer. <\/p>\n
\n\tThe appointment of Rose follows the announcement that current CEO Berry is moving to the position of global partnerships ambassador, a new role that supports the \u201cdevelopment and delivery of The Prince and Princess of Wales\u2019 philanthropic vision, working across their charitable interests.\u201d<\/p>\n
