Lucas Perri has emerged as a doubt for Leeds United\u2019s clash with Fulham.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With four points from the opening three games, Leeds have had a fairly solid start to life back in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

A trip to Craven Cottage beckons for Leeds this weekend<\/a>, and a result is going to be crucial after a dismal few weeks at Elland Road.<\/p>\n

However, ahead of the clash, the Whites seem to have been dealt a blow in the form of Perri<\/a>, who has started every Premier League game so far.<\/p>\n

According to Joe Donnohue via X, Perri may have sustained an injury in training for Leeds ahead of their return to league action.<\/p>\n

Concerns had emerged over Perri\u2019s ability<\/a>, but his clean sheet in the recent 0-0 draw with Newcastle subdued some of those fears.<\/p>\n

For a goalkeeper, playing consistently is the only way to build confidence, especially in a new country, and for Perri, his chances of doing that have taken a hit.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke is expected to provide an update on the situation when he faces the press on Thursday, but if the injury rules Perri out on Saturday, it could see a return to the matchday squad for Illan Meslier, who was linked with an exit from Elland Road<\/a> this summer.<\/p>\n

Karl Darlow will be expected to start at Craven Cottage, and having been playing for Wales over the international break, he will at least be sharp.<\/p>\n

Leeds curse strikes after Lucas Perri update<\/strong><\/p>\n

Prior to this, Perri had not sustained any notable injuries throughout his career, but he is looking to be a doubt for Saturday\u2019s clash.<\/p>\n

Ethan Ampadu could return for Leeds<\/a>, while Farke will also be forced to provide an update on the fitness of Ao Tanaka.<\/p>\n

The last thing Farke needs at this stage in the season is more injuries, especially after the Whites failed to make the most of the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n
