Birmingham\u2019s Symphony Hall is set to become a hotspot for free live music this autumn as B:Music unveils Lunch: Unplugged \u2013 a brand-new series of acoustic performances at its in-house caf\u00e9, B:Eats.<\/p>\n
Running from September through November, the sessions will take place at 13:00 on selected dates, offering office workers, families, and music lovers the chance to enjoy a mid-day break with live performances from some of the region\u2019s most exciting talent.<\/p>\n
Nestled within Symphony Hall and overlooking Centenary Square, B:Eats has built a reputation since its 2022 opening as a vibrant caf\u00e9 that celebrates local flavours and culture. Known for its freshly prepared menu \u2013 including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options \u2013 the venue has also earned recognition as \u201cThe Home of the Brummie Bacon Cake\u201d\u2122.<\/p>\n
Nicole Evans, Director of Commercial Services at B:Music, hopes the initiative will encourage people to rethink their lunch break:<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe understand how challenging it can be to unplug during lunchtimes and resist the temptation to opt for a supermarket meal deal so you can keep working through lunch, or even to grab a quick handful of biscuits between meetings. However, we believe that taking a proper break is crucial.
